All our Computer Science undergraduate courses offer aguaranteed, paid year in industry, between the second and third year, as a recognised part of your degree.

Foundation year

Gives you the skills and knowledge for entry on to a degree if you don't quite meet the academic entry requirements.

Study abroad

We have partnerships with universities across the globe. Depending on your course, you can study for one trimester, or a full year, in another country.

Industrial placement

Integrated Masters

Some courses combine undergraduate and postgraduate study. The integrated Masters year is an extra year after your standard degree.

OUR RESEARCH

Our computer science research was ranked joint fifth in the UK for impact in the last national assessment. Specialist areas include computational science, computer gamification, dependable intelligent systems, robotics and AI, and simulation and visualization.
